Who wants to be a millionaire? Duane Cash popular oil painting "DAWN OF LIGHT" auctions on eBay during art collector frenzy from Cash Art Studio
March 21, 2004--" Dawn of Light "
Anyone want to be a millionaire? This is what some frenzied collectors are saying about the art of Duane Cash, whose works have been reported in online art news outlet as gaining popularity.
After a recent surge in popularity and increasing gallery values, Duane Cash releases his surreal oil painting "Dawn of Light" to auction. The painting offers a unique subtle luminosity not seen in years.
Collectors have begun their scramble own a piece of the Duane Cash Art Collection. Recently traffic to the website has tripled and requests for art commissions, logo orders, and Rubik's puzzle emails have been coming in at a rapid pace.
Duane Cash, a native New Mexican artist, now living again in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has brought to life such innovations as the Duane Cash Cube Collection, a set of 6 puzzle inventions inluding the Rubik's Triamese Cube and Rubik's Fusion+ Cube, as well as his "Friend's and Family" and "Mystical" series landscape tree paintings displaying a raw earthy background and sky and vibrantly color red and orange "glowing" trees.
One such painting, entitled "Trees of Truth" remains in the Cash Art Studio ebay store as quite a bargain at $2,795.00 considering it has a gallery value of $4,500.00 - $5,000.00. (Note: a direct link to this auction is listed below).
The flood of orders has been intense, and ebay search engines have seen an increaase in the amount of searches done on "Duane Cash Art" as well as "Phet Cash Art" over the last week.
"I find the whole phenomenon of his (Duane Cash's) work fascinating, and I would love to help in keeping his art alive," says one local collector. "I think we would be losing a great artist, if he returned to working a different job. What if Van Gogh or Monet decided not to paint anymore because of another job? What masterpieces would we have missed out on?"
Duane Cash's paintings have also been described at "striking" and "incredible" by some art enthusiasts.
Duane Cash, also had an article released recently in the April 2004 issue of "GAMES" Magazine featuring his puzzle inventions in the Duane Cash Cube Collection. Timing did not give any favors for this article because of some website restructuring taking place at the same time on the online Rubikshop.
Duane and Phet Cash have become America's Living Artist Couple in a short period of time through their website and through auction venues such as ebay.
